We are a 5 doctor, sa practice w/ amazing staff and never a case we will not help. Want to know what I think? I think that if you go to a veterinary clinic you NEED to know who owns it? What their motive to be in this space is? And ask your vet if they took a sign on bonus? What has it cost them? What is it going to cost you? What about your pet? 

And when you can't get a life saving surgery, or emergency care done for less than $3,000 to $20,000 ask yourself if you are a part of the problem? If there weren't vets seeking only high ticket items, and clients (knowingly or not) patronizing these platforms (and lets talk about Chewy, online pharmacies and big box stores selling all sorts of pet stuff at below what we can get it for) then maybe your pets "replacement value" is the correct negotiating tool for pet care?

My parting words; Nothing in the history of veterinary medicine is going to claim more lives than corporate take over of vet care. (not any disease, natural disaster, etc. It will be at the hands of pet loving parents having to euthanize their treatable pet because corporate take overs have fixed the prices so high that almost no one can afford them. Talk about breaking a soul. Kill the light of someone's life.
